“One can never consent to creep when one feels an impulse to soar.” -Helen Keller

“I really do think that any deep crisis is an opportunity to make your life extraordinary in some way.” -Martha Beck

Life in America is chaos. Women especially have so many obligations and demands on our time, our attention, and our finances that day-to-day living itself can be daunting. Our days are filled with traffic, advertisements, backed up e-mails, appointments, worries about our health, weight, and appearance, drama with family and friends, politics, work (or unemployment) stress, and dismal news reports. The good news? With disorder comes opportunity. With the right organization and navigational smarts, we can rise above the noise and disorder, put our lives into perspective, and take advantage of every opportunity for health, wealth, and happiness that comes our way (and there are many, if we know what to look for)!

This new blog will be a tool for women to share tips and advice on simply making life easier and better. We only get one, so let’s enjoy it to the fullest! Forget about gym memberships, get-rich-quick schemes, back-breaking labor, torturous diets, drastic lifestyle changes, or expensive products. If we can learn to ignore some of the marketing hype, cultural myths, and other distractions of our time, we can spread our own wings of knowledge, creativity, and unique talents to take advantage of every little updraft and rise above our daily struggles to soar freely toward our dreams.

The easy life is within reach. Stay tuned for a series of tips and inspirations for the modern American woman who is not content to creep.
